So hitting the ' key will trigger the SubSpace Radio Comm prompt:


Sub-space radio (xRadio Channelxx): [<ENTER> for multiple lines]

You can start a SubSpace chat line almost anywhere, in mid haggle if you want.  The text you enter will be visible to all players who have their SS channel set to the same channel you broadcast on.  This can be set from the N command at the computer prompt.  Subspace communication is an important way to communicate with your corpmates.
